Homeschool Freedom Academy Graduation Requirements

Student must have completed all required coursework laid out by law in the state of Colorado & have at least a 2.0 GPA in order to qualify for a Diploma.

Note that meeting the minimum requirements for a Diploma is NOT enough for college entry. See below to ensure your student achieves enough coursework for the appropriate college, if they are college bound.

Diploma High School Graduation Minimum Requirements

~ Minimum coursework Diploma requirements are:

• English 4 credits

• Math 3 credits

• History 2 credits

• Science 2 credits

• PE 1 credit

• Fine Arts 1 credit

• Electives 8 credits

For students who are college bound, ensure that they complete 24-28 credits.

Do NOT base their coursework on this guide alone, be sure to check with the colleges they are interested in going to, to ensure that you help them achieve what the need to complete to have a higher chance of success.

• English, 4 credits

• Math, 3-4 credits

• History, 3-4 credits

• Science, 3-4 credits

• PE, 1 credit

• Fine Arts, 1 credit

• Foreign Language, 2-4 credits

• Electives, 8-9 credits

For students who want to go to a highly competitive college, they should complete 26-30 credits.
