What’s required by HFA
Yearly reporting by July 1st of each year for each student. Yearly reporting includes the following:
Attendance- Quick and easy online attendance totaling 172 days, averaging 4 hours a day. Since the hours a day can fluctuate, it's important that what is recorded are the days.
Curriculum Summary- Quick and easy online submission of the curriculum/activities being used to teach the legally required subjects. This includes reading, writing, speaking, math, history, civics, literature, science, the constitution and honor and use of the flag (beginning no later than 7th grade.) HFA has no curriculum requirements beyond the summary.
Assessments- HFA only requires assessments on school years ending in an even number, for students 3rd grade and up. HFA accepts tests, professional evaluations and parent evaluations. The next assessment year will be the 2023-2024 school year. Assessment results must be submitted by end of year. (July 1st)
HFA DOES NOT require immunization records. As a homeschooling parent you are required to keep your own records, but HFA does not require those records to be submitted. Your personal medical decisions are none of our business.
Enrollment Packages
Records only:
Includes secure record keeping of attendance, curriculum summary and assessments in the corresponding years. This doesn’t come with any other benefits including the HFA fb group. $65 per family (Early Bird Price: $55)
HFA Premium:
Includes secure record keeping of attendance, curriculum summary and assessments in the corresponding years, curriculum consulation, printable student and teacher ID’s, newsletter, and fb group. $100 per family (Early Bird Price: $90)
All enrollments are non-refundable.
High School Add-On:
Includes a yearly unofficial transcript, speicalized high school record keeping, resources for high school planning and high school planning consulting. This service is seperate from enrollment and must be added on to enrollment. $25 per student
Graduate Add-On:
Includes an unofficial transcript, 3 official transcripts to be mailed to the colleges of your choice, and a diploma. Students must meet the minimum criteria listed in the HFA Graduation Requirements page on the HFA webiste. HFA is not responsible for purchase of this add-on if students fail to meet the requirements. $35 per student
All add-ons are non-refundable.
